Right Angle Blog is awesome for state issues. I hit that twice a day for the info but not to post.

DaytonPolitics was a good “go to” for our area but that has switched “owners” and is down right now. I understand that it is starting up again but am not sure where it will pop up and under what name.

It would be sweet if someone would start something like that here locally again. While the main guy posting was a big lib, it was fun to take shots at people locally like Rhine and Joe Lacey on occasion.

I definitely check out the lib blogs too. It’s good to know your enemy.

Blogs are good fun and a good spot to vent, if you can keep anonymous.

I have started visiting imwithfred.com since it started and regularly check the leadusforward site as well.

    That’s my hit list!

For a good laugh visit http://www.redstateupdate.com-it’s not so much a blog but whenever I feel like my head is going to explode because of Pelosi or Reid and their pieholes, I visit here so that I can avoid a heart attack.

  2. Larry Schweikart Says:

I usually check in at Drudge, http://www.freerepublic.com, and http://www.wideawakes.net.

  3. CD Says:

I visit other websites that actually talk about those rights we as the People of the United States of American no longer have, because our current, and previous administrations have raped the Constitution and rights secured to us by the original 10 Bill of Rights amendements.

I visit other websites that uphold the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights, and support those candidates who WANT the people to be heard, and do not agree with a President who runs over our rights as originally set forth by our founding fathers.

Wake up people! Read these documents, and then see how Tyranny has come to America! I voted Republican all my adult voting life, until recently. Unfortunately, I voted for Bush twice! Our country has become a police state, and will only get worse.

My favorite websites / blogs, in no particular order, with links:

    Mark Steyn: http://www.marksteyn.com/

    Michelle Malkin: http://www.michellemalkin.com/

    Hugh Hewitt: http://hughhewitt.townhall.com/

    The Corner: http://corner.nationalreview.com/

    Jihad Watch: http://jihadwatch.org/

    Powerline: http://www.powerlineblog.com/

    Instapundit: http://www.instapundit.com/

    Belmont Club: http://www.fallbackbelmont.blogspot.com/

    Michael Savage: http://www.homestead.com/prosites-prs/

Mark Steyn is the best and most entertaining conservative writer you have never heard of. Period.

Michelle Malkin is a conservative lady with attitude.

Hugh Hewitt is an Ohio boy – born and raised – who made good in California. Sharp and insightful.

The Corner is National Review on-line. Need I say more?

Jihad Watch is exactly what the name implies. Know the enemy.

Power Line is spot-on political analysis.

Instapundit is a professor of law who directs you to what is happening day to day. You’re not informed unless you drop by this site daily for links to what is going on in the world.

Belmont Club is crisp analysis and debate with regard to the defense of western civilization.

Little Green Footballs is one of the top 25 websites / blogs viewed each day in the USA. LGF keeps an eye on the enemy so you don’t have to. Read it. Everyday.

Rantburg is a daily and extensive compilation of articles from around the world with an emphasis on Islam’s “holy war” (jihad) on civilization. Think Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance? Think Osama and his ilk distort the “true message of Islam”? Think again.

Michael Savage is a no holds barred kind of guy. Often the truth can be very harsh. Savage is not afraid to call it as he sees it. You know where he stands (like it or not). Check your political correctness at the door before entering.

I frequent Michelle Malkin’s blog mainly. I do from time to time surf the left’s blogs to see what kind of drivel they are saying.

  6. Martin Arbagi Says:

Although it is not, strictly speaking, a “blog” site, I visit the Miami Valley Conservative Alliance several times daily on days when I’m not working. (I’m semi-retired.) Since I suffer from slightly elevated blood pressure, I don’t go to any Lefty sites. Why make a small problem worse?

  7. JR Says:

    I go to GOPUSA.COM, TOWNHALL.COM, and HUMANEVENTS.COM!!
I am a CONSERVATIVE and live by those principles daily!
I wiil, on occassion, visit the LIBERAL BLOGS, but,
I find them, by and large, nothing more than viciral
hatred for the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!! Our friends
in the Democratic Party are more interested in turning
this country into the former SOVIET UNION than into
listening to views of other people!! The present field
of Democratic Presidential Candidates presents a
“CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER” to the National Security of
the United States of America!! Those who contribute
and support those candidates are contributing to the
    demise of this GREAT NATION!!
    ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. JTodd Says:

I personally keep my own blogs on Town Hall and Blog Stream, the former being a political blog and the latter being a baseball blog. Likewise, I frequent several of the sub-blogs on National Review’s website (nationalreview.com or nro.com), which is, for my money, the best opinion website out there. From time to time I will also visit the American Spectator. I highly recommend all sites (particularly my own, wink-wink!).

On the lib note, I also visit the New Republic and the Politico for non-conservative opinion.

  9. dp Says:

I enjoy Dave Esrati’s site for the scoop on crazy Dayton news. I read it everyday. rightangleblog.Com is also a graet read for state political discussion.. I admit to being a Drudge junkie, checking it 5 or 6 times a day.

  10. THE BIG DAWG Says:

    Fellow Bloggers…

I was on Esrati.com the other day and saw that a new Dayton Politics site is up. I went to check it out and it doesn’t look like it is going to be left leaning like the old daytonpolitics was.

It’s called http://www.DaytonPolitix.com though unlike the old site.

Check it out, there is not a lot posted there yet but there was some info about the Moraine elections this morning.

It will be interesting to see where it goes… left or right. I’ll keep you informed as I see more postings.

On today’s date (6-18-07) The Big Dawg brought to our attention the very local website: http://www.DaytonPolitix.com.

I made a visit to the site and found the local Dem Party is linked to the site (as well as our own MCGOP site). What I found more interestig is that the local Dem’s website has NOT been up-dated since November, 2006. even though the local Dem blog predates our GOP blog, I think the fact the local Dem Party blog has not been up-dated since November, 2006, speaks volumes.

I suppose I shouldn’t be too surprised. Given the Dem’s victory over the GOP in November, 2006, the Dem’s may feel “entitled” (their natural state) to rest on their laurels some eight months out from their big wins in 2006.

Resolved: The MCGOP will give the local Dem Party someting to worry about in 2008: Fred D. Thompson.

Although Fred currently trails Mitt and Rudy in Iowa and New Hamshire, he leads them both (by a solid margin) in South Carolina.

    See the latest Mason-Dixon poll:

    http://www.realcities.com/mld/krwashington/17382643.htm

Important: The Dem Party, together with their RINO fellow travelers in Washington, have revived the “POS” immigration reform bill. It’s not too late to re-double your effort to kill the bill. Write or call your represenative. Today. Tomorrow. The day after tomorrow.

  12. Armchair Warrior Says:

I read Drudge like I use to read the newspaper.

  13. JR Says:

I read the USA Today Blog today (6-20-07) on the DRUDGE
report and saw Congress ratings at 14%, well below that
of President Bush!! Perhaps if Rep. Nancy Pelosi and
hack Dingy Harry Reid would not CRAM a socialist/communist agenda down the throuts of the
center-right American people they would be held in
higher esteem! Ah, but there is the rub, must keep the
LEFT WING BLOG nation happy! HAPPY IMPLOSION!!!!!!!!!!!
    ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!!
